At Coral Coast Veterinary Services we service the beautiful Cassowary Coast region from our clinic in Innisfail, with patients coming from as far north as Cairns and as far south as Tully.
We place enormous emphasis on ensuring that the patient and their family’s interests are all considered to allow for the best possible health plan to be put into place in a compassionate and considerate environment. All staff focus our efforts on making each patient’s and owner’s visit as stress-free as possible.
Our vets and nurses are all very active in their continuing professional development. This means that our staff are up to date with the latest developments in pet health and care and our extensive in-house diagnostic equipment and facilities are being regularly upgraded.
Kind, caring and compassionate. I have been using this veterinary clinic since the 1990’s and never looked back. Although it has changed hands a few times, the service and staff have always delivered a 100% friendly and professional care to my pets.
We were fortunate to have vet Dr Shona treat our cavoodle, she was professional and efficient. She gave us a lot of confidence in the way she handle our dog but also in her diagnosis and treatment plan. We highly recommend this vet practice, all staff members we interacted with were lovely.
Karen is the lead veterinarian and previous owner of Coral Coast Veterinary service in Innisfail. She started her veterinary career in Bundaberg in 1996 until moving south to the Gold Coast Hinterland for a 7 year stint prior to returning to Innisfail with her husband, Doug, a local Innisfail lad. Their return to the family farm brought with it the opportunity to start working for Dr Anthony Kahler of Anthony Kahler Veterinary Services.
This finally led to the construction of their current purpose built veterinary hospital and the development of a team of passionate veterinary professionals.
My menagerie currently consists of three dogs of varying sizes, all mixed breed mongrels of course, three horses who are simply lawn mowers and of little functional use at all (aside from the cuddles they will give for a bit of tucker), and two cats who live at the clinic to keep us entertained after hours.
