The current clinic and large animal hospital in Malanda was established in 1982 and has gone through several major renovations.
In 2008, a registered equine hospital and surgery and a large undercover cattle facility were completed.
The clinic in Malanda is a state of the art veterinary facility. It can service the needs of all its other practices and clients as well as providing a world class teaching facility for final year veterinary students from James Cook University.
The equine hospital is fully equipped for reproduction services, surgery, radiographs and much more to ensure the top health of equine patients. Similarly, the small animal hospital is home to an experienced team who can ensure the best care for your furry friend.
A large team of veterinarians work from the Malanda clinic and service large areas of North Queensland for small animal, equine and bovine clients. A large part of the Malanda clinics clientele is made up of local dairy farmers.
The Tableland Veterinary Service administrative centre and almost all of the clinic directors are based at the Malanda clinic.
