Jamie was raised on the family’s large cattle station near Springsure, Central Queensland where her love of animals and the bush life first started. After completing high school at Emerald State High, she left home and moved to Townsville to complete her Veterinary degree in 2018. After graduating, she packed her bags again and set off to the Tablelands to join our Malanda Clinic. In her spare time, you might find Jamie walking her faithful old Labrador ‘Honey’ around the beautiful Tableland countryside, dropping over the range to explore Cairns or travelling home to help on the station whenever possible.

Alysia Rim
Veterinary Nurse
Originally from Melbourne, Alysia has always been passionate about animals, with a special interest in captive husbandry. Her love for reptiles led her to build an impressive licensed collection, including a freshwater crocodile living comfortably in her lounge room alongside pythons, elapids, colubrids, and various lizard species. With wall-to-wall enclosures, she had little room for furniture—or visitors!
In June 2022, she joined Tableland Veterinary Service as a Veterinary Nurse.
Outside of work, Alysia is a devoted mother to her son, and a dedicated carer to her animal family, including her dogs Dagwood, Veedog, and Chickpea; a Jungle python named Mowgli; her bearded dragons Pancake and Maple; and her beloved budgies.
Alysia loves her job at TVS, cherishing the opportunity to serve the Ravenshoe community and their pets. She feels deeply connected to helping others care for their animals, a passion that lies at the heart of her life alongside her family.
Kelly-Ann Mills
Client Care Specialist
Kelly-Ann grew up in a small town near Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She began backpacking at 17, exploring much of Canada, the USA, Europe, and Central America. Australia was always on her travel list, and what began as a trip turned into a long-term adventure.
While completing her farm work in Ravenshoe, she met a local, and nearly a decade later, she’s still here. Her true love, however, is her Beagle, Baby Beau.
